About Court

Court Stroud is a writer, media strategy consultant and executive coach who has worked at Univision, Telemundo, Azteca, CBS and several startups. Founder of consulting practice The Cledor Group, Stroud helps companies navigate today’s tumultuous media landscape in traditional and emerging media, as well as assists leaders in reaching their professional and personal goals.

His clients include companies such as NBCU (NBC, Telemundo, NBC Sports), Sony Entertainment Pictures and BBC Studios.

An adjunct faculty member at New York University, Stroud teaches several courses he designed, including “Diversity in Media & Advertising” and “Selling Your Pitch: Essentials of the Business of Television.” He co-created a media course about the fundamentals of digital advertising certified by the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB).

A contributing writer for Forbes.com, Court is a member of ASJA (American Society of Journalists and Authors), the NWU (National Writers’ Union), and NLGJA (Association of LGBTQ Journalists). He received a New York Press Association First Place Award in 2019.

Stroud holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
